Pictured above is Larry Chiborak and World Trick Shot champion, Mike Massey. You can say that history was in the making when Mike suggested that Larry make Bonus Ball a three pocket game! It was time for something new and exciting for billiards. It took many years of hard work and a chance meeting with Barry Bremner, computer software designer, promoter and of course, a hard core pool player.

Larry no longer needs to dream. Bonus Ball is here to stay! The first professional event, the World Professional Billiard League (WPBL) "Super Series of Billiards", was held here in Winnipeg last May. Top professionals from all over the world, like

Shane Van Boening, John Schmidt, Francisco Bustamante, Johnny Archer, Nick Varner, Erik Horleifson, Corey Deuel and Charlie Williams

all came and played! They left loving the game and it's even better now! The show was fantastic and the action was exciting! We even had Mike Massey make a special appearance! It was the show of a life time!

ABOUT THE 2011 MANITOBA OPEN BONUS BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bremner and Chiborak teamed together and The Manitoba Amateur Billiard League was born. The MAPT introduced Winnipeg players to Bonus Ball and the rest is history. Bonus Ball has grown and developed to a game so good, so fun to play, that the first Manitoba Open Bonus Ball tournament was sold out in a matter of days.

This tournament will see the very best players rise to the top. The final sixteen players will be the cream of the crop. Bonus Ball forces you to play better than you could imagine. Cross cuts, caroms, two-three-four rail shots and banking will be the shots most witnessed. The "three pocket" WPBL professional version of Bonus Ball will be played! The smart and strategic players will rise to the top of this event. Up and coming players will visit the table many times but in the end, it won't be enough! The best players will be in the final bracket! Come out and watch this event. You'll be amazed at what you are about to witness! History in the making! I promise you this, you'll never see better shot making! The game brings out the very best in players.
